Here are my photographs of the magnificent Canterbury Cathedral. It has a history that can be dated back to 567AD and is most famous for the murder of Archbishop Thomas Becket in 1170, but putting all that aside and just looking at the architecture, the Cathedral has a nice mixture of Norman, English Gothic and perpendicular Gothic style architecture and is one of the most impressive structures I have ever visited, it really is a place you should try to visit, I thought that it was probably one of those places that you hear so much about but when you get there you are disappointed... but far from it, i was very impressed and was blown away with the interior, but photos will never do the place justice, you really do need to visit yourself, even if you're like me and not a religious person

The photographs were taken on the 4th of July 2005 and the weather went from overcast to bright to thunder showers to glorious sun all in one day and can be seen in the photos.

I would give this location 5 stars in friendliness towards photographers, everyone was welcoming and they allow you to take photos. this is a stunning place to visit
