Here are my photographs of St Lukes' Church in Shireoaks. I had a sole purpose in searching out this church, one of the graves is for a man called Joseph Tomlinson and the date of his death is quoted as being the 30th of February 1955... a date that never existed! This is just another of those curiosities that I love to find (see pic 12). Another little thing to note is that the church once had a spire but it was removed in 1973
